Linda & Jeff – Houston

September 29, 2011

I met Linda many years ago while working for United Launch Alliance at Johnson Space Center in Houston.  She was the one who gave me the tour during my interview.  She even recommended me for one of the best jobs of my life. During my time at USA, she was one of my mentors who taught me the Electrical Power System, so I could then one day become an instructor to the crew and help them trouble shoot any failure that could be thought of during simulations in prep for their missions.  Like I said, one of my favorite jobs!  She was one of the best instructors at USA and a phenomenal teacher.  We shared a desk and became close friends within months.

When she told me she met her dream man, I cannot even begin to describe how happy I was for her.  She’s beautiful, smart, active, and a blast to hang out with, so I was thinking in my head this man better be one hell of a guy to have gotten Linda so giddy.  I met Jeff and knew she was right….he was the one for her!  He’s kind, intelligent, and dotes on her hand and foot.  They just click in a way that makes anyone smile with satisfaction that there is that kind of love out there.

As you can imagine, I immediately said yes when asked to shoot her wedding.  You will see below how happy her and Jeff are.  Linda spent the night before with me and my favorite moment was when she was sitting on the bed with her knees drawn close to her chest, arms wrapped around them with anticipation like a little girl on Christmas Eve saying, “I am so happy! I can’t wait to marry Jeff tomorrow!”  Still makes me smile!

I love you Linda and Jeff!  I’m so happy for you both!!  What a beautiful wedding at Butler’s Courtyard in League City, TX.
